We are Transit.
Imagine for a moment the bicycle as not a device for sport but a tool, not unlike your car. Now imagine all the things you may need to make that easier...bags, lights, locks etc.
That is what Transit Cycles is all about, enabling you to use your bicycle for transportation.
We are moving this week! We are hoping to be open by the evening on the 4th of May (2018) and we will be open for the Block Party and Spring Bazaar on both the 5th and 6th.
The Bradshaw mountains were hard to ignore the first time driving North on I-17 out of PHX. Out of the sandy Black Canyon (about 2500 ft elevation) they rose to forested peaks, the tallest being Mt Union at 7,979 ft. Google Earth showed a system of forest roads and soon a 60 mile two day loop was roughly mapped out, starting and ending in Mayer (about 4500 ft).
Opening Transit Cycles was the fulfillment of a life long dream and truly that has been enough to keep me on cloud nine over the last six months.
I’ve spent almost all of my adult life working in the bike industry. Since the beginning I have used Bicycle Retailer to get a snap shot of what is happening and a sense of the trends that are developing within the industry.
Sales & Service
We won't just sell the bikes and stuff that makes this easier but we will work on them too. We will offer a complete repair shop in our little 500 square foot slice of bicycle heaven. We will be equipped to do it all from fix a flat to rebuild your front wheel with a hub dynamo to power your lights.
